Spires Gallery

Your Destination for Fine Art, Unique Gifts, Custom Framing, Fine Art Instruction, & Fine Art Supply

Spires Gallery (formerly Artful Things) is marked by a rich history and high-level of dedication to fine-art. Many qualities come together to make our gallery one-of-a-kind:

We feature the works of both local masters and up-and-coming artists. Over 70 different creators local to Northwest Florida are featured in our Gallery.
We host three studio artists who come in daily to work. You will often see these gifted artists at their easels, pondering their next paint stroke.
We host a wide-range of ongoing fine-art classes and workshops.
We offer custom framing services and carry trusted, name-brand fine art supplies.

Spires Gallery is launching Visual Literacy courses for middle and high school homeschoolers. The courses will be led by Elia Saxer, an accomplished and highly regarded instructor with a proven track record teaching both youth and adult students. To review Elia's portfolio, art history background, and professional accolades, please visit her website at www.eliasaxer.com.

Her course is based on the Da Vinci Initiative, which emphasizes traditional, skill-based atelier training and realistic drawing techniques for K-12 students.

The middle school course will begin Wednesday, October 21 and run from 1:00-2:30. The high school course will begin Thursday, October 22 and run from 1:00-2:30. Elia's curriculum is designed as an initial six-week course with an option to continue.

The cost for the course is $35/session plus a one-time supply fee of $12.00 and one-time binder/textbook fee of $10.00.

You must pre-register for your child's first class. Call or stop by the gallery to register your child (850-729-2600). The one-time supply fee of $22 per child is due at registration and will secure your child's spot in the class.
